adidas x Def Jam.

Adidas has linked up with Def Jam records to commemorate their 25 years in the biz. It's only right, considering that they have been linked together since Run DMC in 1985. Well, now the Three Stripes have dropped a handful of new colorways for Def Jam, as well as some for individual artist like Redman, Method Man, Young Jeezy and Ghostface Killah (which I think are the only ones I'd cop).

Here's a new commercial for adidas Originals. It kinda reminds me of the party I was at this weekend, esp when David Beckham showed up. It was way better than Kid N' Play's house party.

Upper Playground x adidas Originals Stan Smith: Aesop Rock

Upper Playground and adidas linked up for a collabo and designed a shoe inspired by Aesop Rock.

In Upper Playground’s whirlwind of releases done in collaboration with adidas, this month’s third volume features hip-hop artist Aesop Rock. For Aesop Rock, his design features inspirations lingering from his album of last year, None Shall Pass. The faded green and gold scheme is reminiscent of the album art and maintained on an unmarked upper. Keeping it similar to previous releases, the Aesop Rock Stan Smiths will drop on Thursday, July 31st at Upper Playground flagship stores as well as online at 8:00 am PT at UpperPlayground.com.
