Kobe Bryant named MVP

Finally...

It's officially official. Los Angeles Laker, Kobe Bryant was named the MVP of the 2007-2008 NBA Season, and he deserves it. Regarded as the NBA’s best player for several years but never its most valuable, he edged out Chris Paul by receiving 82-first-place votes and 1,100 points in the media vote. He was followed by New Orleans’ Chris Paul (28 and 894), Boston’s Kevin Garnett (15 and 670) and Cleveland’s LeBron James (1 and 438). Congrats, homie.

...now if you're wondering what the hell does this have to do with hip-hop? Everything. For those who don't know, Kobe has been known to spit something from time to time. And I've been dying for an excuse to post this:
