Weezy was just named the Best MC of 2008 by Rolling Stone Magazine, who just released their Best of Rock 2008 issue. The views expressed in the this post do not represent that of Hip Hop Official..we just tell it like we read it.

Wayne works quickly — he writes nothing down, records rhymes as soon as they pop into his head, and completes up to five songs a day. He can also knock out a verse for someone else within a half-hour of hearing the beat. That has served him well financially: Wayne charges $100,000 for the average cameo — or $75,000 if he likes the beat or the song. "But nothing less!" Wayne says. "I wouldn't do a song for my sister for less than $75,000."

I wonder how much he charges his Daddy?

The Worst Rapper of All Time

...According to Yahoo! Music, who just released it's list of The 25 Worst Rappers of All-Time. Topping the list, was the Ice Man himself. I mean, you knew this before you ever read this. He also made one of the best Unintentional Comedy movies of all time.

The rest of the list is...eh. Most of them aren't even rappers, but people who attempted to rap (Dan Akroyd, Elvira, and Mr. T). But I do think it's hilarious that Nelly and Yayo made the list...Peep that Yahoo article for the reasons behind each name.
