Paid Dues Lineup Annouced.

Murs has revealed the roster for the 2009 Paid Dues show in San Bernadino, California. It goes down March 28 a the Nos Events Center. Atmosphere will be headlining the event, and the independent monster Tech N9ne will be featured for the first time at a Guerilla Union event. Blu and Exile are also performing, which will sure to please a ton of cali heads. The rest of the lineup includes:

ATMOSPHERE, TECH N9NE, LIVING LEGENDS, BROTHER ALI, B-REAL, GROUCH & ELIGH, CAGE, BLU & EXILE, EYEDEA & ABILITIES, LMNO, DJ VAL THE VANDAL, VERBS AND THE BAYLIENS; and will be hosted by 2MEX.

Atmosphere Live on Conan

Atmosphere performs the song "You" off their new album, When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold. I just saw them live for the first time in L.A., and I gotta say I was impressed. Slug has a great stage presence, and really connects with the crowd well. If you have the chance, I recommend you make time for an Atmosphere show.

Atmosphere Debuts at #5

Indie rap duo, Atmosphere crashed the party this week, as their sixth album, When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold debuted at #5 on the Billboard charts, selling 36,400 copies in its first week. That was enough to secure the top spot on the Hot Rap Charts, dethroning the boss, Rick Ross. Congrats to Slug and Ant, and all the Rhymesayers. I can't help but feel that our 2-Part interview with Atmosphere gave them that extra boost they needed to breakthrough.
