[VIDEO] Murs - "Break Up" (The O.J. Song)

Yes, as in O.J. Simpson. We can all relate to this one. Not the O.J. part, but the breaking up part.

"Everything I do, it reminds me of you,
And everything I see, it reminds me of we.
And every time I lust, it reminds me of us,
And I wanna stay together, because I hate breaking up"

Real talk.

[VIDEO] The Grouch & Eligh - "Say G&E"

New video from the Living Legends duo Grouch and Eligh. I can't front, between 1997-2000, I was one of the biggest Living Legends fans ever. The Grouch was that dude. Nobody else in hip-hop was on their independent grind and coming with the type of introspective music these cats were bringing. They knew how to connect with their fans, and they did it themselves. These guys are the definition of paying dues. Do your homework. Respect due.

Grouch threw up the free DL on his Twitter:

Murs For President.

I sat down with Murs to talk about his new album, Murs For President, working with beatsmith 9th Wonder, and the lack of quality hip-hop today. He says he plans on changing the landscape of music. He also has the craziest hair I've ever seen. A vote for Murs is a vote for change.

[NEW] Murs - "Can It Be"

This is the next single from Murs' new album, Murs For President, hitting the stores and voting ballots September 30th. I'm a big fan of Murs, and this album is going to be bangin. The song contains a dope Jackson 5 sample that my homie Gio used (first) for his song "Just Stuntin'" . Looks like Warner is ponying up that sample clearance money for Murs. First that now this. Impressive, they might actually care about this release...

Murs EPK

Murs is better than your favorite rapper. Check out his EPK (Electronic Press Kit) that included interviews clips, live performances, and random appearances. But on the real, Murs is a dope emcee in every sense of the word. He deserves some shine...and he gets it here.

[VIDEO] Living Legends - "She Wants Me"

I'm saying...the Living Legends are some creative ass muthafuckas. In 1997-99, they were putting out some of my favorite music, and I would be hard pressed to listen to anything else...but eventually, they changed their sound and style up a bit and I moved on. It was like a mutual brea-up. It wasn't them, it was me...well, actually it was more them.

Well, just like any ex-girlfriend, they always end up back in your life. And it's in the form of their latest music video...In this one, the LL crew spinoff the Flavor of Love/I Love New York shows that we all Love to Hate....or is it Hate to Love? The video is fresh, the song is catchy, and I'm diggin it...ring tone beat and all. All crew members appear on the song, and the track appears on their latest EP, The Gathering.

Oh wait, you don' have it? Well, shit...here's ya go: Living Legends - "She Wants Me"
