[VIDEO] Kanye West (ft. GLC & Consequence) - "Spaceship"

This is a never before seen, never before released video for Kanye's song "Spaceship" off his debut album, College Dropout, back in 2004. It's still not finished, but GLC has just released a rough cut of the video for the world to see (you'll even see the diagonal red line thru a few shots). Here's what GLC said:

First off, I’d just like to thank everyone for believing! There’s a lot of people saying where we could of been if this was released in 04 but for what ever reasons it wasn’t. I no longer wanna deprive the people of their rights! You have the right to embrace my concept as well as those of Kanye, Consequence & Tony Williams as we gave you are all! This is a story of triumph over the ills of society & the workforce interfering with your pimpin’ & in this time of a recession this record may be more relevant now than it was in 2004! Thank for letting me grow with you! Love, Life & Loyalty coming soon! Hello World! Oh yeah my player is fixed too sorry about the prior non pimpish auto-play!

Shout out to the homie 88-Keys for his cameo, see if you can spot him. Shout out to Fake Shore Drive for the video.

[VIDEO] Consequence - "Mr. Popularity"

I think this entire video was shot on Con's personal Kyte phone. It includes cameos from everyone on the hip-hop planet.

[NEW] Q-Tip ft. Kanye West & Consequence - "We Fight/Love" (Remix)

Q-Tip remixes one of my favorite joints on his latest album, The Renaissance, which is in stores now, and is one of the best albums of last year, so stop sleeping.

This one comes courtesy of Nahright, who got it directly from Q-Tip. So you know it's official.

[VIDEO] Consequence & Kid CuDi- "Buggin Out '09"

Cons and CuDi revisit a classic Tribe Called Quest joint. Directed by Rik Cordero.

I had a chance to chop it up with CuDi at SXSW, and honestly, I was impressed with the dude's demeanor and genuineness. At first he seemed like he didn't want to talk, but he really opened and gave a really dope in depth interview. You get a sense that he's really passionate about his music and loves his fans. That's a good formula for success in music.

[VIDEO] Consequence - "Job Song"

We can all relate to this one. Working a shitty job, making no money, bill collectors knocking on your door. Fuck that.

This song utilizes one of my favorite samples of all time, Bob James' "Nautilus." In fact, I think I'm going to bump some Bob James right now. Thanks, Cons.

[NEW] Static Selektah ft. Consequence - "Mr. Popularity"

Static on the beat, Cons on the mic. This is off Statik Selektah’s upcoming album, Stick 2 the Script, dropping October 21st. Kanye West calls this joint "CRAAAAAAAACK!!!" I wouldn't know about the crack part, but this joint is dope.

[VIDEO] Consequence - "Disperse" (ft. GLC & Really Doe"

New video from Consequence with mad cameos from your favorite rap stars. If the beat sounds familar, that's because it is. CRU used the same sample for their song "Just Another Case." And I think I like their version better, that track is so classic to me.

"Phil Collins in the background, Su-su-sudio."

By the way, Cru's album, Da Dirty 30, is a under-appreciated gem and one of my favorites East Coast joints from that era (1997-200). It stays in my rotation. If you don't have it, and I strongly suggest you cop it with a quickness.

Sorry Consequence, I didn't mean to turn this post into a Cru hype-fest, but your beat made me do it.
