[VIDEO] Kanye West (ft. GLC & Consequence) - "Spaceship"

This is a never before seen, never before released video for Kanye's song "Spaceship" off his debut album, College Dropout, back in 2004. It's still not finished, but GLC has just released a rough cut of the video for the world to see (you'll even see the diagonal red line thru a few shots). Here's what GLC said:

First off, I’d just like to thank everyone for believing! There’s a lot of people saying where we could of been if this was released in 04 but for what ever reasons it wasn’t. I no longer wanna deprive the people of their rights! You have the right to embrace my concept as well as those of Kanye, Consequence & Tony Williams as we gave you are all! This is a story of triumph over the ills of society & the workforce interfering with your pimpin’ & in this time of a recession this record may be more relevant now than it was in 2004! Thank for letting me grow with you! Love, Life & Loyalty coming soon! Hello World! Oh yeah my player is fixed too sorry about the prior non pimpish auto-play!

Shout out to the homie 88-Keys for his cameo, see if you can spot him. Shout out to Fake Shore Drive for the video.

Welcome To Brooklynati.

We caught up with hip hop group, Tanya Morgan (yes, that's a group), who reps from Brooklyn and Cincinnati on their latest album, Brooklynati. I just copped this album, and it's off the hook. The homie 88-Keys joins the interview to add his 2 cents and drop a hilarious story about the trio. Word to the wise, don't heckle Von Pea. You have been warned.

Kid CuDi Interview: Part 3

And ya don't stop. Here's Part 3 of our Kid CuDi interview series in the streets of Austin, Texas. He's joined by his friend, mentor, and legendary producer 88-Keys, who has been supporting him and providing sage-like advice since the jump. Also, we happened to have the cameras rolling when CuDi meets fellow Ohio-native and beatsmith extraordinaire DJ Hi-Tek for the first time ever. Dope moment. I think Hip Hop Official might have just helped broker a production deal between these two. If Tek produces a track for Cudders upcoming album, you know where you saw it first. And I want my finders fee.

The SXSW Live Cypher.

We dropped Part 1 (above) a few weeks back. Now the rest of the cypher has hit the internets! Ya'll ain't ready for this one. The best part about this cypher is that it broke out in the middle of our interview with Tanya Morgan. One thing you know Von Pea was imitating Don Cornealious, and the next thing you know mic are getting wrecked in the streets of Austin, Texas. Featuring Homeboy Sandman, P.CASSO. Fresh Daily, Tanya Morgan, and 88-Keys.

PART 2: Fresh Daily, 88-Keys and Don Will

PART 3: P.Casso, Ilyas and Von Pea from Tanya Morgan

SXSW 2009.

We just returned back to L.A. from a crazy, intense, wild, exhausting, exhilarating, amazing week at South By Southwest 2009. Stay tuned because we have some incredible interviews coming your way from out there including Big Boi, Reflectional Eternal, Kid CuDi, 88-Keys, Jadakiss, Styles P, Asher Roth, Cool Kids, Zion I, Mistah Fab, Pac Div, U-N-I, and so much more. I could keep talking about it, but that would prevent me from actually finishing producing them. So until then, enjoy some camera phone photos, and keep on refreshing for tons of dope content from this year's SXSW festival.

Jannelle Monae rocking at our showcase.

[VIDEO] 88-Keys ft. Kanye West - "Stay Up (Viagra!)

88 gets his grown man on as he unleashed the first video from his Death of Adam LP, and also happens to be my favorite cut on the album. This one features the musical stylings of Mr. Kanye West, who happens to be 88-Keys best friend. Bet you didn't know that, did ya?

88-Keys - "Nice Guys Finish Last" [LIVE]

The Polo Champ blesses the HHO Lounge with a live performance of his track off the Death of Adam LP live in the HHO Lounge. He's so talented he's able to switch wardrobe during the song without you even noticing. Shout out to DJ Mister Mike on the cuts.

88-Keys x J Dilla.

This is a Hip Hop Official Exclusive performance, live from our HHO Lounge. 88-Keys came through the spot to chop it up about his latest video shoot with Kanye West (more on that later). He rocked a couple of joints off his Death of Adam LP, and then asked the fateful question: "Got any Dilla?" This is what transpired...

...88 rocks to one of my favorite Dilla beats of all time, "E=MC2."
