Smif-N-Wessun a.k.a. Cocoa Bravaz a.ka. Smif-N-Wessun (again) were my shit in the mid 90's. Shit, I still fux with Buckshot and the whole Duck Down team. Their debut album, Dah Shinin, was an instant classic with countless dope tracks. Tek and Steele were the epitome of that low down, dirty, grimey, nappy headed, bubble coat wearing, Timbaland boot stomping, mean mugging, pistol packing, New York street rap. I loved it.

Damn. Buckshot from the legendary Brooklyn trio Black Moon was hospitalized after returning home from tour in Europe. The emcee and co-founder of Duck Down Records was undergoing a series of seizures, according to a statement from the label. Get well soon, homie.
