[NEW] Raekwon (ft. Ghostface, Method Man, Inspectah Deck) - "Flying Daggers" (prod by J Dilla)

Sound the sirens. Hide the women and children. The Wu is back! This joint is fire. Five legends on one song? It's disgusting. Dilla channeled his inner RZA on this one, and came with a classic Wu sounding beat. Deck set off the song with his best verse since "Triumph." Rae brings his classic mafioso drug dealer rap. Method Man brings comes with his usual top notch braggadocios word play. And Ghost manages to spit a hard ass verse while still mentioning every article of clothing in his closet.

Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 drops September 8th. Yes, I'm officially excited.

Red x Meth on Carson Daly.

Good interview. Great performance...but not as good as the one I saw in person last night. Hahaaaaaa.

[PHOTOS] Method Man x Redman in L.A.

Meth Tical and Funk Doc da Spot smashed LA last night at the Highlands. On top of the new joints off the Blackout! 2 album, you know they had to drop some of the classics from the 90's. In fact, when "Da Rockwilder" came on it completely destroyed the building. I think the Highlands might need to call in some contractors to rebuild that muthafucka.

Mad people were in attendance last night including Erick Sermon (who blessed the stage with "Music", The Rza (who tore it down with Meth doing "Wu Tang Clan Ain't Nuthing Ta Fuck With", Yo-Yo, Affion Crockett, DeRay Davis, Diz Gibran, Tri-State, Planet Asia, DJ Drama and of course, Gio Basicali. Method Man did his usual crowd surfing, Redman did his usual shit talking. Check the flicks and then hate yourself for missing such a dope show.

Wu-Tang Live @ The Apollo in 1997.

Classic. Historic. Everybody's there except the RZA. ODB blesses the stage something fierce. The crowd goes insane. Great times all around.

Shout out to YN for making these embeddable. I know that's not a word, but fuck it. I just made it one.

MISS MONDAYS.

Method Man (ft. Mary J. Blige) - "All I Need"

The Queen of Hip Hop Soul lends her voice to one of the grimiest love songs of all time. And I'm glad she did.

"Plus I love that you got a mind of your own,
No need to shop around, got the good stuff at home."

adidas x Def Jam.

Adidas has linked up with Def Jam records to commemorate their 25 years in the biz. It's only right, considering that they have been linked together since Run DMC in 1985. Well, now the Three Stripes have dropped a handful of new colorways for Def Jam, as well as some for individual artist like Redman, Method Man, Young Jeezy and Ghostface Killah (which I think are the only ones I'd cop).

Wu-Tang Covers Remixed.

Wow, this is super duper fly. Wu fans and design heads are gonna love this. I know I did, and I'm both. Graphic designer Logan Walters has remixed all the original Wu-Tang covers in the style of classic old school Blue Note jazz record covers. Iconic covers meet a timeless look. They are calling the project either Blu-Tang Clan or Wu Note Records. Call what you want, I call it incredible.

The designer plans to do all 21 Wu-related albums, but here are the first 8. I can't wait for the next ones...

[NEW] Method Man & Redman - "Dangerous MCs"

"Even Herbie Hancock know Red rockit"

Yessir! Meth and Red act like it's 1999, and come with some of the classic Blackout funk. Proving that they still got, they come with that same hot fire that Dylan spit. I hope this one is produced by Erick Sermon, because that's what my Spidey senses are telling me. I know that bass synth anywhere.

It's the M-E-T-H-O-D, MAN!

Johnny Blaze and his Wu brothers perform live on the Jon Stewart Show. No, not the Daily Show. This was the short lived talk show he had on MTV from 1993-94. Although it was cancelled, it provided some very dope live acts, as evidenced by this classic clip of the Wu-Tang Clan playing "Method Man."

[NEW] Redman & Method Man - "City Lights" (ft. UGK)

Wow. This shit bangs. Two different duos from two different worlds that I would never think of mixing together, but this shot worked wonders. Color me impressed. Red even threw in a little auto-tune and I didn't mind one bit. Don't worry, it's only like 2 bars, minus the 808s and heartbreak.

[NEW] Method Man & Redman - "A Yo"

The Blunt Bros. return with a brand new cut (presumable off of Blackout 2). It's got a little bit off mass appeal radio-play steez to it, but still on some rhyme shit. If that makes sense. And there's a Nate Dogg rip off on the hook. No shots.

[VIDEO] Method Man - "Bring the Pain"

Is it real, son? Is it really real, son? Let me know it's real, son, if it's really real.
Something I can feel, son. Load it up and kill one. Want it raw deal son, if it's really real.

This is hands down one of the G.O.A.T. boxer entrance songs of all time. I think Iron Mike came into the ring to this song once and I always lost my shit. Imagine how the other boxer felt. So gangster.

Daily Dopeness: Da Rockwilder.

I'm tired as fuck. I drove down to San Diego last night for the Red and Meth show, and to interview the M-E-T-H-O-D Man. I stayed until 2 AM and had to drive back to LA, so I didn't get home until 4 AM. But it was worth it, the show was bananas. Red and Mef killed it as usual, and put on a great show. San Diego represented too. I've never seen so many white surfer kids rapping along to classic hip-hop songs. If you haven't seen these cats live, what are you doing with your life? They shut this place down when this sound came on. No surprise, it's such a crowd rocker.
