Artist of the Week: Jadakiss.

Al Queda Jada talks about his new album, The Last Kiss, which coincidentally hits stores today. Actually, it's no coincidence. We knew his album was dropping today, that's why we made him Artist of the Week. See how that works? That's called good planning and foresight. And staying relevant.

So after you watch this video, go cop The Last Kiss, which includes guest sppearances from Mary J. Blige, Sheek Louch, Styles P, Ne Yo, Nas and Ghostface Killah.

Pepsi Smash Mic Pass ft. Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, Raekwon, Jim Jones and Jay Rock.

Dope concept. Every year at the NBA All-Star break, Pepsi throws the Pepsi Smash concert series. They flipped it and did a live cypher from Arizona, with 5 different MC's in 5 different locations...passing the proverbial mic. Check it out, it's pretty fly. This might be the best Pepsi commercial of all time.

Daily Dopeness: We Gonna Make It.

I used to do this everyday, but have been slacking on my mackin, so I'm trying to kick start this again. Every day I try to post a song that I'm feeling that day, usually based on my mood. It's totally random, but always dope. Hence, the title. Today's selection comes from Jada Muah and his triumphant track about overcoming hardship, "We Gonna Make It." Produced by the Alchemist. Yessir. Ahaaaaaaaa!

[VIDEO] Alchemist - "Lose Your Life" (ft. Snoop, Jadakiss, and Pusha T)

Interesting video to say the least. It's like Scooby Doo meets an acid trip. But the gang does mange to bust Prodigy out of jail, so it's got that going for it.

[NEW] Jadakiss - "Who Run This" (feat. Jay-Z)

Something new from Al Queda Jada. I don't know why it says featuring Jay-Z, he only talks on the track. Not even a hook, nothing. But I guess it's a good marketing tool, because you're about to click the link

The BOBO came through with this. I thank them, and you should too.

LRG & Bun B present the II Trill Gifting Suite.

LRG linked up with Bun B to present the II Trill Gifting Suite at Zune L.A. last week. It was set up for a bunch of rappers and celebs to come through and get some free swag (stuff we all get) and get fitted up for the summer. LRG, G-Shock, and EA Sports were some of the companies giving out free ish. The rich get richer.

Jadakiss, Raekwon, and Bun B were among those who were in the building. Peep game.

I Used to Sell Mixtapes...

...but now I just download them.

A handful of new mixtapes just dropped (including that Nasir Jones one) on the internet, so I scooped 'em up for ya and put them all in one place. (Don't ever say I didn't do anything for ya.) If you're looking for some new music, you came to the place.

88 Keys - "Adam Case Files"

88 Keys is one of the best producers in the game, he's also slept on like a Serta. This tape features Guilty Simpson, Grafh, Mr. Bentley, Serius Jones, and a handfull of other up and coming bar spitters and it's a precursor to the debut solo project The Death of Adam dropping in October. BTW, that album is being executive produced by Mr. Kanye West, so you KNOW that's a good co-sign.

Download.

DJ Whoo Kid & Capone-n-Noreaga - "Back On That Q.U. Shit"

The Queensbridge duo, CNN, return (daaaaamn, remember them? War Report was the shit.) with this street banging mixtape. N.O.R.E. and Caponne at it again. This is their first joint together since 2000.

Download.

Charles Hamilton & DJ Green Lantern - "Outside Looking In"

This kid is out of Harlem and is supposed to be the next big shit. I’ve heard his name, but I’ve never heard any of his music...until now. It's always weird to me when rappers go by their real names.

Download.

Kardinall Offishall - "Limited Time Only"

Kardinal, Akon, and Clinton Sparks present this tape. The last time Kardi and Clinton teamed up for a tape, it was one of the year's best, sticking to it's then-novel '90s throwback theme all the way from the Photoshopped Do The Right Thing cover to the loving Cypress Hill and Redman tributes. Their latest project previews six tracks of hot fiya from this summer's Not 4 Sale LP. Kardinal reresents Toronto and has been killing it in Canada forever. If you don't know, get up on this.

Download.

Supa Mario & D-Block - "So You Wanna Be a Super Hero?"

Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch bring you this D-Block mixtape. Not much to say, other than it's that typical D-Block street shit that you already know and love.

Download.

Peter Rosenberg @ Summer jam '08

Hot 97 personality, Peter Rosenberg goes backstage with a camera at Summer Jam 08 in New York City and talks to everyone from Busta Rhymes to Lil Wayne. Dude is pretty hilarious. He might be the most liked Jew in Hip Hop.

[NEW] Jadakiss - "From Now Till Then"

I have to hand it to the Alchemist. This beat is fire. He's perfected that grimy simplistic-type track, but it's mad catchy. i won't put him on blast, but I recognize that sample and it's a good dig.

Jadakiss - "From Now Till Then"

Enjoy.
